Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between techniflows Inc. (hereinafter "the Company") and users regarding the use of the BylineCloud internet newspaper solution (hereinafter "the Service").
Article 2 (Service Definition)
BylineCloud is a cloud-based solution that provides content management systems (CMS) and managed hosting services for internet newspapers. The service includes:
- Website hosting and domain management
- Content Management System (CMS)
- Security management and updates
- Technical support services
- Backup and recovery services
Article 3 (Membership Registration)
- Those who wish to use the service may apply for membership according to the procedures set by the Company.
- The Company may not approve applications that fall under the following:
- Using a false name or someone else's identity
- Providing false information
- Applying for purposes that harm social order or public morals
Article 4 (Service Provision and Changes)
- The Company performs the following tasks:
- Web server hosting and management
- CMS software provision and updates
- Security monitoring and patches
- Data backup and recovery
- Technical support services
- The Company may change the services provided for operational and technical reasons when there are substantial grounds.
Article 5 (Fees and Payment)
- Service fees are as published on the Company's website (bylinecloud.com).
- Payments are processed through the Paddle payment system and operate on a monthly subscription basis.
- Fees are automatically charged on the same day each month.
- Service use may be restricted in case of payment default.
Article 6 (Data Protection)
- The Company takes the following measures to safely protect customer data:
- Stable data storage through cloud infrastructure
- Daily automatic backups
- SSL/TLS encryption
- Regular security updates
- Customers are responsible for their content and bear legal responsibility for copyright infringement, defamation, etc.
Article 7 (Service Suspension and Termination)
- The Company may suspend service provision in the following cases:
- System inspection, maintenance, replacement and failure, communication interruption, etc.
- Power outages, facility failures, or traffic congestion affecting service use
- Other cases of force majeure
- Users may request service termination at any time.
- Upon termination, user data will be retained for 30 days from the termination date and then deleted. Data export is recommended before termination.
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
- The Company is exempted from responsibility for service provision when unable to provide services due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.
- The Company is not responsible for service use obstacles caused by user fault.
- The Company is not responsible for loss of expected profits from service use.
Article 9 (Jurisdiction)
In case of litigation arising from service use disputes, Daejeon District Court shall be the competent court.
Article 10 (Other)
Matters not specified in these terms shall be governed by related laws including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, or commercial practices.
