BylineCloud March 2026 Update — Tag Management, Bookmarks, GA4 Integration
Key features added this month including admin tag management UI, article bookmark functionality, and Google Analytics 4 integration.
March 2026 brings several new features to BylineCloud. Here are the highlights.
🏷️ Admin Tag Management UI
A dedicated page for managing article tags has been added to the admin panel.
- View and search all tags
- Create, edit, and delete tags
- See tag usage statistics by article count
- Merge duplicate tags
Previously, tags could only be added during article creation. Now administrators can systematically manage all tags from a central location.
🔖 Article Bookmarks (Phase 1)
Readers can now save articles for later reading with the new bookmark feature.
- Bookmark button on article detail pages
- LocalStorage-based (no login required)
- Dedicated page to view saved articles
Phase 2 will add server-based sync for cross-device bookmark sharing.
📊 External Analytics Integration
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Naver Analytics can now be easily connected.
- Just enter your tracking ID in admin settings
- Automatic pageview and article read event tracking
- Works alongside BylineCloud's built-in analytics
🔒 Enhanced API Input Validation
Zod-based input validation has been applied across all admin APIs.
- Clear error messages for invalid inputs
- Stronger XSS and injection attack prevention
- Improved API response consistency
🔊 Article Text-to-Speech (TTS)
Articles can now be listened to with built-in TTS support.
- Web Speech API-based (no additional cost)
- Play button on article detail pages
- Playback, pause, and speed controls
This improves accessibility for visually impaired readers and allows content consumption on the go.
